WDM, Low RIN DFB Lasers

These DFB lasers can be externally modulated for applications of broadband RF over fiber, DWDM systems (i.e. WDM channel grid), or sensing. This low noise, high power DFB (>100mW) is designed to eliminate relaxation oscillations, exhibits no measurable RIN, and operates in the shot noise limit.

WDM, Low RIN Transmitters

These laser transmitters are an ideal choice for RF transmission over fiber or WDM system applications.  These low noise transmitters are integrated high power DFB lasers with driver and TEC temperature controllers.  The carefully designed electronics eliminates any switching noise or spurious peaks that prevent the broadening of the laser linewidth.
