Analog Optical Transmitters

Analog ModBoxes are optical modulation units specially designed for operation in an analog environment. They can be used for RF over fiber (RFoF) links, analog device characterizations, tests and measurements.

Optical VNA, Up to 65GHz

The ModBox-VNA is a wide bandwidth Optical Transmitter designed to extend Vectorial Network Analyzers applications into the optical domain. When associated with a Vectorial Network Analyzer, they make up a high performance and easy to use test equipment for photoreceivers or any high-speed optoelectronic device characterization. The ModBox-VNA- incorporates a low noise DBR laser source and a modulation stage based on a large bandwidth LiNbO3 analog modulator with an automatic bias control circuit. This comes in options for 40 GHz and 65 GHz at 850 nm, O-Band and C-Band.

MODBOX-VNA-OBAND-65GHz – Optical Vector Network Analyzer with 1310 nm low RIN DFB laser source and a modulation stage for up to 65 GHz.

MODBOX-VNA-CBAND-65GHz – Optical Vector Network Analyzer with 1550 nm low RIN DFB laser source and a modulation stage for up to 65 GHz.
