Specialty Fibers

The iXblue Fibers family of Specialty Fibers, Single Clad or Double Clad configuration are dedicated for your laser or amplifier designs. These fibers are produced as Active Fibers with an emission spectrum that covers a comprehensive wavelength range from 0.9 um to 2 um. Matching Passive Fibers to these Active Fibers facilitate product integration. Newly developed Er and Yb doped Radiation Hardened (Rad Hard) Fibers have battle-tested in many space missions

Active Fibers

The iXblue Fiber family of Active Fibers includes Er, Yb, Tm, Ho, Nd, Er/Yb and Tm/Ho doped fibers. Single clad (SC) or double clad (DC) fiber configurations are dedicated for your laser or amplifier design. Erbium (Er) Doped Fiber @ λ = 1.5µm

Erbium-doped fiber (EDF) is Ideal for C & L Band fiber amplifiers. High-efficiency EDF features Low Noise Figure (NF) and Flat Gain Transmission Bandwidth. It comes with a 125um cladding diameter along with a 245um coating diameter. iXblue’s Erbium Doped Fiber (EDF) products have been designed to fulfill particular requirements for a large diversity of applications
