Tunable Optical Filters

The Alnair Tunable Optical Filters come in either a manual or computer controllable bandpass filter benchtop versions with an independently tunable center wavelength in the C or C+L band and a variable pass-band bandwidth as narrow as 0.1 nm to as wide as 15nm. They feature an ideal flat top profile with an extremely sharp roll-off at the filter edges of >1500 dB/nm, providing a strong out of band suppression of typically 50dB and a negligible chromatic dispersion within the bandpass. The Tunable FBG Wavelength Filter has a 20nm tuning range with a 3dB Bandwidth of 0.1-0.6nm.
